In a recent article I was interviewed by Sally Deskins who writes for Les Femmes Folles, a blog "promoting and supporting women in art". It was inspired by an art show in April 2011 by the same name featuring 5 female artists.Only a couple of weeks before she approached me, my friend Jenna Morrison, a musician, mentioned she was doing an interview for her band Conduits. Now that I'm aware of it I want to read the tales of so many other female artists in Omaha. I like finding another tiny thread that ties us all together.
